You will begin your certificate program by learning the principles of academic research, followed by the exploration of God, creation, humanity and sin. Later on in your courses, you will have the opportunity to examine hamartiology, prolegomena and the attributes of God. Additional lessons cover the theological formulation of salvation, the church and the Holy Spirit, where you can examine the nature of Christ and the nature and work of the church.
As you progress through the program, you can prepare to study theological movements and church history from the postapostolic period, through the late medieval period to the late modern period, studying topics such as the Reformation, Renaissance humanism and late medieval nominalism.
